The Impact of FUN

I am writing after a long gap. I have stopped writing because I thought I am not good at it. But, that’s the thing, who gives a shit you are good or not, public just want something new. My writing can be a reason of transformation for someone.

Why I am saying this? My workout selfies and captions have actually motivated a lot of people, they have personally messaged and thanked me. Anyway, I should start my topic.

Why am I talking about FUN? Fun is a thing everyone does, right? Well, few months back I had stopped having fun and was completely on my hard working mode. It was the time when I felt I didn’t have a life. My life was damn boring and hard. I had goals which needed to be fulfilled. For fulfilling the goal I needed some seriousness, so I locked myself in my room. I stopped going out for parties, shopping, eating street foods. And then a day my friend called me, she asked what’s the plan for today? I said I am just keeping on in my room. She said, “You’ve become a freakin psycopath (she didn’t said exactly the same word but she meant the same). I thought of proving her wrong and so I went to a stupid party.

I love parties but this was not that good, there was a match going on between India and Pakistan. I hate cricket matches. They were displaying the match on the freakin projector. Everyone was watching the match and no one was dancing. I was really getting bored. I was regretting my decision of coming to the party. And finally the stupid match got over and India won the match. DJ started playing the music in the peak of the bass. People started dancing with their spouses/girlfriends/boyfriends. I was watching everything and my target suddenly came on my mind. For the first time in my life, I said “Dude, Let me enjoy” and suddenly I became free. I started dancing with attracting expressions and the girls were actually starring at me. I felt, Yes, I am alive. It was the night when I decided, I will have fun every time I get the chance.

Fun is like a dessert after the main course. It improves the value of the main course. The main course is the hard work. We all do hard work, we all have certain goals in our life. We all have our targets, pursuing them makes us so serious that we forget to have fun. If you feel I am talking non sense, just ask your neighbor how much he/she have fun in their life? Ask your coaching friend, ask your barber. You will see they don’t have so much fun in their life and that’s the reason you don’t hangout with them.

I caught you. Now, you are thinking this is absolutely right. I mean, why is your barber not your buddy you wanna hangout with? Its because he is busy running his business and doesn’t want to have fun just like you.

What Fun does is it makes your brain forget about your target and makes it relax. When I dance in a Pub surrounded by all the hot girls, I just remember making my body move with the rhythm of the music and not how to make a freakin report. Fun, stops your brain which was continuously working and became tired. Your brain rests and regain its energy. When you enjoy a day or night, you sleep after that which again makes your brain to get some rest and then when you wake up, it actually works way faster that anytime ever. Certainly you become more creative, more productive, more enthusiastic towards your goal. The FUN is needed to achieve your goal. Fun is the requirement of a human brain. You can read any great author, political leader, scientist. They had fun in their life which made them more and more sharp.

I personally do a lot of activities for having Fun, if you want to know I have listed some below-

  1. Record songs.

2. Write something new (a novel, story, article, poetry, experience, anything)

3. Watch any good movie from my bucket list.

4. Do a night out and dance to the core in a pub.

5. Try some new TV series, they teach a lot more than a book.

6. Explore some new apps in the internet.

7. Play Foosball, I love this game, it requires intense brain work and strategy.

8. Play Pool, this improves my decision making skill.

9. Go out with a friend and ask him, how is his life going. He will surely tell his problem which helps me dealing my own problems.

10. Try photography, its an awesome skill and try posting something everyday in your Instagram account.

These are some of my creative ideas which I do to have fun. The list can be long and long, you can try any of these or even better, have your own style. But do have fun in your life, it will help you staying focused and enthusiastic for your goal.

P.S. Don’t have too much of fun or you will become a garbage bag. Remember, a little sugar can make a tea tasty but too much of sugar can spoil the taste of that tea.
